regarding my spelling:
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/sync Doesn't sound like much of a cheat to me then. ...mostly because I used to do this with one other friend in RA. The two of us were almost never on the same team. We did not use International though. He told me that does work. We saw a 4 team in RA all from the same guild, and he said that's what they did. |

it doesn't happen often in American because of the sheer number of people but in other dist like polish its pretty easy because of the lack of people. it is cheating because its meant to be random, if your altering that somehow then your not going by the law. Also they don't TA because most who do TA actually do it in coordination, where as RA syncers do it because normal teams in RA suck so bad most of the time that even an uncoordinated but balanced team can win against them.

Problem i find in RA is, clearly some people have been so used to this syncing, that when a real random team comes in and kicks there ass, they all shout cheat cheat cheating sync noobs bla bla
I never play RA, and i took a water ele in there the other day for fun, and i just cast deep freeze + maelstrom ( was just messing around really ) and my random team had a warrior, monk, and another ele only running fire, and most of the teams i came against where noobs who just stood in maelstrom and wondered why they could cast, while the fire ele nuked them, Many times i had people saying we where cheating syncing noobs etc, ive never played RA since, i dont have time for cry babies in a video game. |

It has nothing to do with not being good enough for TA and everything to do with the fact that TA is stupidly broken and destroying people in RA is just fun. That being said, I don't synch because everyone who I used to play with quit so I only PvE or RA alone as my ranger now. But the answer to why others do is fairly obvious. EDIT: I know that was an old post I responded to but that question gets asked a lot still today so I figured I'd give my answer to it anyway. |

I'm glad 2 from RA. I've not seen that many syncers in American. Again, while it is a problem (I'm not denying tha t), it is NOWHERE NEAR as bad as what most people claim. Again, due to the fact that there are so many false positives (ie, I've been accused of syncing when I'm not), I'm sure the perceptions of people make the problem seem worse then it really is. My first post was mostly dirrected at the OP and others who clearly have no idea WTF syncing even is, and just use it as a crunch when they lose.
